 Feedback thread

Any comments or feedback can be left in this thread. I do have a small ego which likes to be stroked ;) but I also have a thick skin to take criticism! :P

Oh yeah, a feedback thead! I am glad you both have decided to have one! Every time I read something I wanted to comment but it is nice to have the story threads clean too! :)

I did have this idea of bumping or 'spotlighting' one poem at a time but that seems vain so just comment on whatever you like! 9and I'll try and remember why I wrote them!

I want to get back to writing and try to recapture those creative writing skills I lost. I spend too much time writing legalese that I lost my creativity. :(

Jo I love Bite Me! I hadn't read it since you revised it and I really really like the way you took it! Even as a short you still become attached to the two characters and are left wanting more! :)

I can imagine that can become stifling!

Thanks - It's been a long time since I read it - I kept meaning to do something more with it but never had the urge - the kind of urge that made me write it in the first place!

Yeah the urge is quite important. It comes and goes with me. I am grateful that when it comes I have had you and DA to share it with. I am not confident enough for anyone else to read my stuff. Maybe some day.

I used to think that but then you gradually let a few trusted people read things then a few more and a few more - the more positive feedback you get the easier it is!

and sometimes it is easier to share somethings than others!

That's true. You tend to tailor your writing for the audience who might be reading it. :)

True. I was thinking also that I choose the audience according to what I have written! There are some things I am more comfortable sharing with some people than others if that makes sense!

Oh, definately. Knowing the folks you hang around with, its easy to judge who will or won't appreciate certain things. I have stories that will never been seen by certain eyes simply because they won't understand and it would cause more hassles than anything else.

That's it! It's all about knowing your 'audience' and what they like. And also what they are comfortable reading!
